RR Sisters Collage

Here's the second piece in this set. This one is on another favorite team of mine: The Sisters, Emma and Kitty! Both Kitty and Emma got great character development in the spin-off.

In the beginning of The Ridonculous Race, Emma and Kitty had problems seeing eye-to-eye. Emma came out as the berating, stern and competitive sibling in her pair. Kitty often tried to have fun with Emma, but the law student refused. Additionally, Emma also put Kitty down in the beginning much of the time, even if the selfie queen was successful. In episode 3, Kitty revealed that the main reason Emma acted like this at first is because she got dumped by someone named Jake. (Given the timespan afterwards, I guess it was that hard for her.)

Over the course of the race (and after meeting Noah), Emma started to lighten up and show her true colors, and Kitty helped by encouraging Emma to tell him her feelings. After sometime, she finally began to develop feelings for the know-it-all. When she did try to go for it though, she began to repeat her mistakes from her previous relationship. Luckily for her, Kitty decided to help out again by getting Emma to not become too obsessive with her new love interest. Also during the race (after the Pros' elimination), Emma also began to warm up to some other teams and started to show care towards Kitty. 

By their end in the race, Kitty was able to prove herself as Emma's greatest ally, by helping her maintain a new relationship and by doing great in many of the challenges. As for Emma, she became more caring towards Kitty, she started to have fun, and she learned that it's okay to lose, as she accepted her loss in episode 25. 

Of all the new characters introduced in the spin-off, I feel that these two are the strongest, and I hope to see both them in the future, and possibly on Total Drama.
